Living with Floods Programme

Global warming and climate change are factors that will further increase flood risks in the future. If no action is taken, flood disasters will continue to harm many vulnerable people in Mozambique. The Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC) is passionate about making a difference in this space. Following the principles of Open Innovation it aims to solve pressing humanitarian needs.

Fighting Floods Together

DCHI and NLRC are calling out to help vulnerable people create a safer community for themselves by their ability to anticipate and act to minimise the impact of floods. Private sector actors, large and small, knowledge institutes and (local) governmental organisations have entered the LIVING WITH FLOODS challenge. Significant impact can be created for the communities in Mozambique, but only if we partner up and take action together.

The goal of the programme is to help vulnerable people create a safer community for themselves by their ability to anticipate and act to minimise the impact of floods. See all the information you need via the buttons below!
