DCHI Award – September 28th, 2018

We are proud to announce the top 3 of the DCHI jury award!

The jury consisting of Suzanne Laszlo (Chair of DCHI board and Director of Unifec Netherlands), Ton Zijlstra (Independent Consultant on open data), and Klaas Hernamdt (DCHI team Lead) has decided on the following top three (in random order):

Optimus / WFP

Optimus is able to combine data from dozens of sources and helps WFP decision makers to continually improve their operations.

Quotidian early warning solutions / Oxfam India

Integrating early waring solutions to quotidian development infrastructures will provide low cost options for real time dissemination.

Words of Relief / Translators without borders

Information only saves lives if those who need it understand it: Words of Relief uses words to improve information access in humanitarian response.

The winner of the DCH Award for Best Humanitarian Innovation will be presented Partos Innovation Festival on 11 October.
